i can't say i blame you there one bit,
i want to store some of my stuff away ... but i can't seem to be able to do that either ... i tried that 'stash' thing ~ but it lost the posting that i tried to stash ... very little seems to work for me at d.a. so i dont even ask for help from them anymore ... i'm still looking for that shangrilaVenue ~ i know it's out there, or that some great soul will build it ... 
there are alot of fine people who post here ~ unfortunately the administration is only as good as its worse agent.

You can store your stuff by going up and clicking 'submit', and then choose 'manage deviations' from the drop down menu. You can then choose the ones you want to store.
They stay on DA's servers, but are invisible to general public. If you want to make them visible again, you just go back in and choose to make them public.

I just reached the end of Solace... Why did it have to end?? It's honestly the BEST HP related fanfic I've ever read... and I've read a few! Is there any chance at all that you might continue, someday?

I've considered rewriting the whole thing from the beginning at some point, but at the moment I am immersed in a Greek mythology based writing project on my other account, and I expect that to take up the majority of my writing time over the next year or so, as I'm planning on eventually turning it into a novel. So, I don't think I'll be getting to the "Solace" rewrite any time soon.
I do so appreciate you reading, though. If you like SS/HG fic I do have a few short stories in that genre in my gallery here. They are in the "Stand Alone Fic" folder: [link] . And there is also eight chapters of another SS/HG fic that I started and didn't finish (I know, I know-it's a chronic problem!) called "A Room of One's Own", that can be found here: [link] . I did notice that you have some other fics, and I think I'll get to them soon enough, it's just that I'm still kinda reeling from the awesomeness that was Solace, and I think that any other SS/HG fic that I read would seem paler in comparison. I think I'll give it a week or two.
Just a question, why exactly did you stop? Did it get tedious, writing so much? Or was it other work that stopped you from completing it?

I had some issues that occurred in my personal life, and that needed attending to, so I took a prolonged break, and then when things were all sorted again, I just couldn't seem to get back into it. It think that the issues that had been the impetus for me to start writing the story in the first place seemed less important after all that had occurred.
