I had to take them down for my creative writing assignments. Our uni has software where it detects plagiarism and it kept reporting my pieces as being plagiarised - even though it was my work, the uni said that whilst the writing was in the public forum it would still be considered plagiarism. A really really stupid policy, but one that was threatening a fail grade.

I hope to have most of the pieces back up once my grades are received, however, and I am still eternally grateful for the dA community and all the encouragement I have received here (from you especially), and my time here is far from spent (though I realise I have been quiet lately, this is due to an insane workload and IRL stress).

Another slightly more positive reason some of the pieces were taken down is because I am hopefully getting published in a poetry anthology of new voices from the Scottish Islands. At this point I am not sure which poems are to be published, except for a haiku which is to be the concluding poem of the anthology. I think that will be the only poem published though, so the other pieces will be back up soon :) (Smile)
