Thought its about time I revived my account. My viva went surprisingly well I thought, I thought it would be a disaster with the 3D stuff but I was very wrong, they were pretty cool about the whole thing. Just waiting patiently for results now I guess!

i know i should really be working on my portfolio right now but i dont have any motivation for some reason!
i'm hoping i have done well with uni ya know, after all i took an extra year to improve on my shit so if i haven't i'll be pretty disappointed, even though i know grades aren't everything!

Yup, definitely is! Just chilling atm catching up on some games and that.. Gonna start off with some daily speed paintings soon I think though.. Have you played red dead redemption yet? Been hooked on that the last few days!

Yeah I have Red Dead but I've only played on it briefly, hope to get into it soon, seems like a pretty good game.
I've been practicing digital colouring with photoshop, didnt really get into it till recently, finally getting my feet wet, I'll keep em posted on my deviantart as I do them, but just experimenting when I can.
Otherwise I'm just looking around for a temp job for the summer till I can put a portfolio together.

Uh Mudbox, never used that one, any good?

Mudbox is really good, especially if you use 3ds Max cause the navigation aroung the viewports is very similar and it's just a lot easier to use and find your way round. Never managed to get the hang of zBrush though, might have to give it another go at some point.

I'll have to give that a go sometime in my holidays,
I've used Zbrush about 3 years ago and it didn't seem
all that difficult, I heard there's been a few good
improvements since then.
