J’aime la France et vos produits sont beaucoup plus beaux que ces produits italiens type Carrefour si je ne confonds pas les vêtements commerciaux et beaux comme ceux-ci que vous avez dans la galerie, j’aime vos habitudes, j’aime la gastronomie et la qualité de la nutrition J’aime votre culture à mon avis si la france gagne dans le monde est beaucoup mieux donc un par un ne fait de mal à personne, même si je suis prêt à aller parfois à Paris et en savoir plus d’artistes possible en personne qui pratiquement

For my design and technology major work, I have adapted a version of traditional marbling which involves utilising ink floating on water to paint fabric. With marbling the ink is placed in the water and the fabric over the ink which instantly sticks the ink the fabric, creating a pretty swirly effect of many colours. I have adapted this to a more contemporary effect which is easier, cheaper and quicker to produce. I am using this method on a summer/50s looking dress, intended for a female to be worn to a formal occasion. At the moment, the paint sort of comes off but not fully after approximately 5 washes. This is what the fabric looks like
