Hehe, I only started to edit chap 3 last night Phew 177 rather far to go T_T Also it was rather big discussion about Ren's real eyes color, what do u think?

I was thinking to actually skip few not very interesting archs, like maybe with Maria and her dad or maybe Kurara adver, I will think about it

Hmm a lot of people were gunning for hazel but i know Japanese people with hazel eyes so it seems too normal his eyes would have to be something amazing!! like Bright blue or green!! ^-^

I think that President will talk to her about her feelings and will be the 1st to try to convince her to open up to Ren, ofc he will fail doing it right away, but at least Kyoko will have some thoughts about giving her feelings a try
Also it was his plan from couple chaps before... so no surprises, I think it will be another "long talk" chapter D:

Well same here dear... I'm not really waiting anything from the next chapter and guess nothing will make my heart race... Actually since President decided to get Kyoko out of project, even for a while, means that we will see way less of Ren then before and Kyoko will be in the spotlight mostly. Ofc I would like to know more about Kyoko, but Ren is the apple of my eye, so I will miss him badly D:

Honestly I also was thinking that Nakamura-sensei cut the story line connected to her mother almost from the 1st chapter. There is still a small chance for her mother to appear, for example, when Kyoko will become a real star. Even though it's very hard according to Kyoko's big appearance change, but her mother will somehow recognize her and will come back to apologize... Maybe, even though it's hard to believe, since Sho opened her pandora box, Kyoko will forgive her... And her life will be full of double happiness not only with Ren, but also with her mother.
At the same time, just thinking of mother, who always pushed her to her limits at school and never been happy with nothing but 100 points for tests, makes me want less for her to come back to Kyoko's life, when she is just about to catch the tail of her happiness in profession and romance...

If her mother is coming back going by manga conventions there is an emotional reunion followed by flashbacks about a tormented past and then a sugar sweet accepting of feelings/forgiveness scene...
But Nakamura-sensei breaks all the shoujo conventions in Skip Beat all the time. I was thinking it would go along the lines of: Emotional meeting> flashbacks that aren't annoying half shadow> kyoko says "you know what? I'm done. i know now what a parent is and its not you."
(I also want the "I'm done with this" attitude to sho- best revenge ever!!)
I think the mother will have to come in to add drama when things start going right because she has the opportunity with all the laws about minors being in showbiz needing parental permission.
I just realized that is a little silly for me to say cos i am assuming that her mother would come in after her and Ren realize their mutual feelings ... and that's another 100 chapters away...

Hehe, you r right, I can't predict if her mother even appear at all... When u said about permission to be in show-biz, I started to think that Kyoko is about to turn to be 18 right? According to what I feel, it's like spring-summer time, so it's about half of year more till Xmas and her 18th birthday... Sooo, u r right it's going to be another 100 chapters coz even if Ren will try to convey his feelings it won't make any movements since he is still concerned about her age...
Also I can't fully agree with ur statement about Nakamura-sensei, that breaking rules of shojo. I think she's not breaking it, but more like doing it waaay to slow, adding way to much of scenes from point A to point B. You can notice even though Kyoko hated Sho in the beginning, she or him never really confront each other. I may say they r really look like old friends that fight and get back to normal... I doubt her revenge will be ever complete, - it's going to be some scene of forgiveness, which is shojo rule to forgive bad guys, make them cry and secretly love the girl, they humiliate before... Same goes for Ren from "hate to love" - thats pretty common in shojo. Also overcoming his inner problems the girl helped him to open the door to bright new future in harmony with himself - isn't it like super common
I can say that I'm happy with background though! FINALLY not school- yeaaaah! Show-biz - yeah! Every girl would like to know whats going on there, with fav actors, singers and so on... That's what makes it more interesting to read... And I'm really grateful to Nakamura-sensei to show us such story...
