Yea, before I came upon your illustrations, I didn't know much about movement... all my art had very little emotion. They still do... but I remember looking at your gallery and saying, "I want to be that good!" Hopefully I will one day. I need to practice drawing muscles and other anatomical features like knees, feet, shoulders... XD

hehe I need more practice with hands! That's my weakness...bust, legs and feet are my stong point with a close second on the torso/abdomen...then third is faces...they're also my second weakness. If you feel you need help with anatomical features, I think you should take a figure drawing class. One with nude models would help so you can see anatomy. You can also get an antomy for drawing book that has different poses and more explanations of muscles and bones and such. I think you're very good, but if you think you need to draw more muscles and such go do it! There's definitely nothing wrong with learning new things.

I was always interested in taking figure drawing classes... it's just... I don't know how to hehe... plus I never really looked into it... so I guess it's my fault.

Well I think you should get a book. I saw a really good one at Barnes and Noble. I think it was called ANATOMY for the figure drawer or for figure drawing...it had a really cool B&W photo on the cover.. I think it was white with red font too. It looked like a REALLY nice book and full of information. A lot of books out there for anatomy always look so boring.

I graduated from FIDM, the Los Angeles Campus. They have a pretty good balance of marketing there. Depending on the major.

oh yea! i went there last summer for their "3 Days of Fashion" thing. i went to the one in San Diego. It was pretty cool. I'm thinkin of maybe going for the Art Institute in Phoenix... still deciding though... but that's really cool ^.^

The art institute is a pretty good school. Really, it's all about what YOU make of your experience. FIDM isn't as wonderful as they make it seem eventhough it is a good school.

No problemo! I've heard bad things abot FIDM since that LC chick from the show Laguna Beach/ The Hills started going there.....she practically runs the school..well she should be gone by now though...My boyfriends bro goes to AI in san diego and he loves it. FIDM is a good school, but not if you want someone to teach you how to foster your creative genius and really drag it out of you. They're good for technical stuff, pattern making, and more business things...they're not an art school basically.

that's true. i thought when i was visiting that they were sorta masking how their school really is... so i was sad about that, cause if you're just going to show possible future students a fake side of the school, then they won't want to go there... i dunno... that's just what i got when i was there. it was cool n'all, but not amazing. but yea, A.I. i'm definitely thinking about it.
