Well, your major is pretty tough, and your first quarter is always tough. I'm sure it'll get better! Just remember to take breaks here and there Never let yourself burn out, it's the worst thing ever! I always do, and I don't do very well for the amount of work I put in ／（＾０＾）＼

Well, I thought the head is slightly too big, the eyes are kind of big [in contrast to the white part] and there could be more volume in the arms and legs but hey, it's anime. It's fine that way (:

Your coloring actually looks quite nice because of the painted look [is it the texture? I have no idea @_@ ]. But I like it.

I think it'd be nice if you tried different poses and different perspectives since it feels like a lot of your drawings feel like they're either looking straight forward, or they're looking sideways at the same angle [of course, I have problems with my people looking the same way all the time too ;_____; ]. Drawing a manga [or a short comic] really requires a lot of different ways of portraying the subjects [and this is why I pushed mine back for later ;; ]. Also... watch out for the two giant enemies of all artists: sfs and anatomy problems x.o

asdfghjkl; I don't know if you wanted such long crits, but since my friend bashes on me for improvement, I don't know how else to give my opinion ;ㅁ; [oh, it's always nice to get someone's opinion at the sketch phase as well. It really, REALLY helps.]
