Right now I'm in a hospital to do 3 practice years as a "nurse"
As my grades were not sufficient (you need an a-level grade of something between 1.0 and 1.2 to start studying medicine right after school - I had 2.0) I decided to do some other medicine education before. When you achieve the job title your a-level grade is improved some tenths (is that correct English? )

Anything especially interesting? Oh for sure. Some diseases I would neither dream of nor wish to have them myself ^^
Oh, and it's interesting to meet all those old people as well (that are most of the patients) You'll not want to be old anymore (some times) when you see them having so much problems...

I think that would be the most interesting part about working in a hospital. Medical mysteries are extremely fascinating to me. ^_^
Working with elderly folk would probably get somewhat depressing after awhile though. :/
