Hey, you left a comment for me a few months ago on a journal I wrote, and I wanted to respond but I didn't want your comment to disappear. I look at it every day and just felt that I had to say thanks. I still feel like it is a lot to take on. I want to push my own boundaries and get better but when you don't have someone to look over your shoulder to pin point whats going on, to get you to push a little harder... My idea of going to school more than anything was to have that. Not the degree or the classes, just to have a close community and/or teachers. I'm not very savvy and have a hard time finding, well, people and people in general. But thank you for the encouragement and I don't plan on giving up.
ArtSo, I haven't been able to produce any new pieces for a while. These past few months I've dedicated myself to learning and doing nothing but practice sketching. I'm really trying to get more of an education being that I can't actually afford to go to school for art. I have already graduated from college but I really want to go back for illustration. But I can't just drop everything and go to any school, I have a family I have to take care of...
Art has always been my thing, I just didn't feel comfortable enough in my art to attend an art school the first time around... So it's always been in the back of my mind to go to art school someday, so I've been trying as hard as I can to educate myself further.
I have a bunch of stuff in the works, a few paintings I haven't been able to finish and a few paintings I actually just need to get photographed so I can upload them (I'm going to try and get that done.)
