Mind my asking... did you go to an art school?

Yes I did. I had a really strong Fine Art background from when I was around 16. When I had the option to go to Uni for art, I decided to go for a year foundation course instead. It was there I discovered I wanted to do Illustration. I finally went to Canada to study a specific sequential arts course.
HOWEVER after saying all that, I feel that if you are dedicated to learning you don't necessarily need school to create good art :3 If you are interested in expanding your skill I highly recommend checking out conceptart.org for a butt tonne of resources and tutorials.

Nice! Colleges and Universities are very expensive. I actually cut my last course short because of financial reasons but it hasn't stopped me drawing and exploring what illustration has to offer.
If you have any questions or curiosities feel free to message me any time. I could give you a list of resources/books that my colleges reccomended reading etc that I still use today :3
