hey man, really appreciate your work, especially the smudges, I was wanting to know learn smudge, and like you are too good, would not want to be my "sensei" helping me improve my smudge?

I was wondering if you could give me any tips on adding splatters to smudge?
I can never make mine look good and in your PSDs they aren't clipping masks which is how I do them.

hmm... it is a bit lucky...
try different spallerbrushes and i move the layer only a few pixels up , down , or to the side. i don't move 'em too much,
it wouldn't be good for the flow if you move the layer crazy around.
sometimes it is easier to use a texture and erase the most of it, so that only a few sparkles are left.
and don't forget , you can edit every brush in the brush settings
(angle and roundness)
