I have a question for you. What all did you use to create Colaboracion: Mecha-Death? I don't have a drawing pad for my computer, so I have to use my mouse, but I was wondering because I am wanting to work on something using Gimp 2.0 so I can start adding more art to my gallery.

The drawing was done on paper, using mechanical pencil.
All I did was painting over and adding the textures using photoshop cs2.
That one I did only using mouse, so I don't see the trouble of not owning a drawing pad. When using mouse I don't very much like using the pen tool for everything, 'cause you can use lazo tool for most of the things.
I use gimp 2.7, it's the closest to photoshop there is right now. You could look for that one, I totally recommend it.
I can make a tiny tutorial showing some steps and the way I worked that piece if you want to, but please only ask me to that if you really need that kind of help
