first of all, i start with a very simple pen sketch of my idea.
unfortunately i dont got my own models, so i need to work with fashion magazines and shipping cataloges. i browse them for pictures with similiar postures. if i dont find something, that matches with my ideas, i make photos of myself for reference. i put them next to me and depicture them. most times it looks totally different then the original, but this way the perspective works. for the most of my artworks, i combined different fotos. for example: the legs, lower and upper body, arms, head and clothes are a from different pictures.
