There are some paintings which are just paintings. Skill, technique and colors put on a piece of paper (or a new document). I call people that do this kind of thing a painter or a drawer . 80% of their works are only mechanical stuff, outcome of a crafty hand.
And there are paintings which have more depth, feelings, true inspirationβ¦ If you have βeyes to seeβ it, you can sense the feelings of the person who has done it. (eyes to sense is terrible. But I canβt think of anything else) It can be gloomy, but it still is more valid than the first ones. (not your case) I call people that do this an artist .

Wow! Lleayhe, thank you very much! you articulated that wonderfully! I feel the same way about art, and the community we share with each other. It's about creating a "feeling" and "evoking mood". I can't stress how difficult of a journey it has been for me to become an artist. It's about being in tune with our environment, and what's around us. I feel connected to everyone and everything!
