After all the map work you had done, I'll be interested to see what other work you will be doing in future.

Ahh! A clearly defined direction is apparent!
Perhaps above ground in the next series?
Wooded paths, village, canyons and crags, ruinsβ¦

That's what i'm thinking too. However, linked directly to The One Million or entirely different? What do you think people would benefit from most?Β

My first thought was that linked would offer more options.
But as the current set has a defined deployment array, additional segments could only be deployed around the periphery of the current 16 tiles.
And that may limit your implementation, so it should probably be a separate series.
If the tiles were designed to be linkable in a variety of deployment arrays, then linkable would be an option, for instance (using my previous example); Village to Wooded path to Spider Lair. But (B1) Spider's Lair cannot be used without A1, A2, B2 and C1.

You are correct, by my thoughts deviate in that some mini expansions may be the way to go, for example, D3, the wizard's lair, may be changed slightly to offer an alternative whereas it links to a map above and a map below, working with depth instead of increasing area.Β

compass-uk In reply to Zatnikotel [2019-05-10 12:28:04 +0000 UTC]
A suppose mini expansions could include more to the right of C4 & D4, above A3, below D1, and to the left of A1.
In addition to the 3D option of D3 going up and down; another spin for variety may be alternate tiles, having the same edge entry/exit points, but varying the tile contents.
for instance;
β’ altering the layout of B2 and C2 so there is no linkage
β’ alternate Tomb layout
β’ a village above B2 linking to another series (but that's a bigger project)
I guess it will depend on feedback from others as well as to how well the implementation is received.

Your strategy (toss a Llama) to get me to see your art was successful.
I quite like your style, so I'll keep an eye on future postings.

Well, you got my attention with a Llama, the least I could do was have a look, and since I liked what I saw, the solution was obvious.

Hello just wanted to say the person that you followed ZeroDaGawd steals art, I tried to get them to stop and showed proof, and when they finally commented back that "some of it wasn't theirs but they posted it anyways. Right after before I could even reply they blocked me, please help me report them, and take down the stolen art thank you. ~

Hi, I saw a comment you made on someone else's deviation indicating you were a Myst fan. Have you seen Cyan's Kickstarter for their new game Obduction? If not check it out at www.kickstarter.com/projects/cyaninc/obduction
We need all the Myst fans we can get!
