yeah I went as Chell with my friend Louise going as GLaDOS (you've probably seen her amazing costume) XD
I definitely want to go next time, i might try something more elaborate (human companion cube, perhaps?)

Been looking on the Accessorize website for some pattern ideas. Here's some of the ones I like:

But yeah just some ideas. Obviously minus the sequins and stuff, and would be more or less the same shape as your kitty one.

i don't know exact measurements of mine, but it's rather long. i think most people will have prom dresses but people also come in cocktail dresses and that sort of thing, so i don't think it matters too much
