That's alright.  When i got my tablet, i fell asleep on it at my computer. i got my tablet many many many years back when i was in high school so it's a very old Wacom Intuos 2. (but i do agree that it's important to use time wisely my parents were very strict and practically burned anything that would take time away from my studies. lol)

My parents are kind of strict with the whole time-management thingy :3 they blocked most of the timesucking websites (youtube, tumblr, deviantart), but I can still access them after school. Do you think it would be worth getting an Intuos? I use an 80$ bamboo capture, and it works like a charm, but I've heard lots of good reviews on the Intuos. Of course, if I could choose, I'd buy the Cintiq, but those are $1000+

If the tablet you have now works fine, then i suggest you stick with it instead of getting a new one and having to adjust all over again. I remember, it took me awhile to understand the use of pen pressure, tilting, flow, and opacity controls. There are way more other functions that i never even explored. I told myself if and when i become an illustrator professionally or an art major or work in the arts, I will invest in a more elaborate tablet. However, I never became a professional illustrator, nor an art major, nor do i work in anything remotely related to the arts. So, i'm glad i didn't spend hundreds and thousands of dollars on tools that would have been of no benefit to me.

I only say this because you already have a tablet that you seem to be happy with.  Personally, i'm a relatively frugal person. I save. I hoard. I only replace things if they break or malfunction irreparably. My droid cellphone is over 5 years old and i've had the one and only 1st gen ipod touch since about 7 years ago, and yes it still works, amazingly enough o.O

Okay! That's good advice I do find that iPods tend to become very slow after a while though; but my tablet seems to hold up better :3

GOOD! draw more! I always get discouraged but just remember, if drawings makes you happy, then keep doing it! Not to please other people, but to please yourself. Then, you'll find yourself getting better in no time!
