I just dropped in to say: welcome to ! We're looking forward to seeing more of you.
In other matters, how are you enjoying your new Intuos so far? I have a Bamboo Create from a couple of years ago, and I really love it, except for one thing: It only has three levels of touch sensitivity - light, normal and firm. I've heard that the Cintiq offers a much more subtle interface, but I don't know if I want to shell out that kind of cash. I figured I'd ask about the Intuos, to see if it offers some sort of middle ground.

About the Intuos I'm really inlove with it, the level that I'm able to use it as a touch pad or mouse, I can also Zoom in and Out, Scroll, Rotate or Flip with just my hand, but when I'm drawing I find myself turing off the touch pad being that my hand has to feel the pad when I'm drawing, I'm steel getting use to it. An as for the price it was $100 dollars at Best Buy but being that Best Buy dose price matching I got my for $60 dollars

From your description, it sounds like the Intuos may be the replacement for the Bamboo. I know they discontinued the Bamboo drawing pad, and now use the Bamboo name for their digital styli.
How do you find the touch sensitivity? Do you find that it offers a range similar to real media like pencil or ballpoint pen, or is it a narrower range? Personally, I draw with Pressure Opacity on, and the Bamboo only offers three levels of sensitivity. Thus my interest in exploring the other Wacom options. Other than that shortcoming, I'm loving my pad for the same reasons you mentioned for your; I don't even have a mouse anymore. Definitely sticking with Wacom!

the touch sensitivity if i had to say the pad feel like a white paper texture so when drawing it feel like pencil, it feel different for everyone but for me its like paper and pencil.
But when drawing the more pressure you press the pen to the pad the more thicker your lines are.

Ahh, gotcha. I tend to opt for a higher opacity (i.e. the lines become less see-through) as touch-pressure increases, rather than increasing line thickness. Still, it's good to know! I appreciate the insight!
