hey bro, what about an amd phenom II X6 1090?i was aiming for I7 but i've been with intel since i was a little kid, i wanna try something new.
or should i wait for bulldozer? i heard sandy bridge is not worth it, i'ts too expensive and only +10% performance

from my experience AMD has lowest performance per dollar but at a lower speeds than intel. I have been very happy with my Phenom X4 9850 Black edition.
I would go with the generation previous processor, so the Phenom II, due to power issues. I spent forever trying to RMA my motherboard because it couldn't handle the 125 watt processor and blew up.
Intell works better with Nvidea
AMD works better with ATI - especialy since they are owned by the same company now.

I see you have a lot of asian influence in your work. Its not only that im an artist but also an art historian. However this style seems to be only in the mythical creatures section. The more detailed the piece is the more detailed my final result will be, I try not to kill off the artists original intent on the piece.
I have ideas for colors but I always ask about what the artist had in mind. I can usualy make the colors work. I can fully understand being scared about coloring with a line art in a traditional sense. Digital is a bit more forgiving as I can erase if i need to

and as far as learning how to color. Pick up Gimp [link] and practice practice practice. I have been at photoshop for nearly 3 years now and am just realizing what its capable of, and its full potential.

I used to play with it Photoshop mostly, I just think I need two computers. One to surf the net with and the other to digitally color with as I just get too distracted by one to do the other and never open the program.

lol. yeah i use CS5 right now. but any of the photoshop versions are good for coloring. oh this is a big one. You HAVE to have a tablet. I work on a cintiq 21UX [link] but they have smaller models that dont have screens that are resonable in price. Without a tablet only half of photoshops potential is unlocked.
