Now, please keep in mind that I am from the South and things are a lot cheaper there than anywhere else. So I'm not trying to be insulting or rude or argumentative. For me, it's cheaper to cook than to eat out. But that's just where I am from. Back when I was single I would cook a variety of things once a week, like on Sunday afternoon and have food for the whole week. But it took some serious bargain shopping. I won't lie. I couponed too. But for me at least, that was way cheaper than eating out which was a luxury for me. I still cook a lot, but it's way more expensive here. But then, so is eating out. However, I understand that my experience is not gonna be everyone's experience. Prices are different everywhere. I just hope that you find a happy medium and can do what you want to do soon.

Im not offended, as cooking is ofren much cheaper and i have a few dishes i wanna try. i haven't been finically set to be able to afford experiments in the kitchen. That changes soon. I plan on postjng a journal on my day off explaining whats changed and such

I think you should blog some stuff that is "normal" food too though. You might be surprised how different one region's "normal" can be from another.

Just finished catching up on your cooking blog. You've had some really great ideas so far. I can't wait to see you do next. You know, if you happen to have apples and left over tortillas, you can make a cheap, kick butt desert. Just saying, apple quesadillas are awesome. But yo have got some serious skills in the kitchen and I am very, very impressed.

Well I'll be going shopping this weekend so expect new things to come. Ran a little short on money from my vacation so I didn't have much money to experiment with. Though it's not a meal that is really something you can save for more then a day or so I do have a sauce listed on the blog for fish and chicken.
Lemon and garlic sauce.
