I've been doing pretty well. Just finished up an assignment across the country and now I'm back home enjoying the start of winter.

I definitely will one day. Where I live now is not really the most happening place but I do like to travel.
It was for my job. I had some specialized training that was only taught in one place in the country, so I had to go there to get certified for four months.

Sounds like a party! There's been a bunch of cons out here in Hawaii lately, but I've only made a couple. I mostly go to people watch while drunk though. Hah. Doing anything for it?
And I'm up to not much at all. Just kicking it and enjoying a day off, drinking beer and catching up on dA. Looks like this place is not going to last.

I'm putting the finishing touches on a new costume that'll have it's debut at the con, and looking forward to meeting other cosplayers/enthusiasts who share my interests.

Nice! I love the work that goes into them. I have no talent or the looks to cosplay, so I just wander.
Oh, they just fired almost all of their core staff, offloaded the site to Amazon remote servers, and are in talks with selling to another company, like Yahoo.

I can imagine. It's a part of the fun. Maybe one day I'll jump into it, but I feel like I'm not much of a true fan of any particular series or game.

If I'm not mistaken aren't you Victoria the one who has the Vandenbroucke Studios page on facebook or UmbrellaSecurity on PSN? I thought I had played RE Revelations 1 & 2 a few times on Raid Mode with you and shown you some of the gear for my U.B.C.S. uniform over my PS Eye camera? I had recently made some other generic RE3 and Outbreak based U.B.C.S. uniform variations of myself as just other generic grunts however my main RE cosplay staple is of Carlos also revamped Billy Coen from Zero and did one of David from OUtbreak also got a few others I'm getting ready to start in addition to my Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake cosplay

I miss when we used to play RE together, it's been a little while! I remember when you started the revamped Billy Coen cosplay... but when I think of you, Carlos is always the first to come to mind.

Yeah I miss playing RE too we should again some time when you have the time to, I'm not sure how familiar you are with the Outbreak Resident Evil games but I also cosplayed David at this year's Ohayocon the zombie walk I went to took place at the Midwestern Haunter's convention this particular con isn't an anime and gaming con but its geared more towards around horror based stuff lthan anime and video games there was also even a Ghostbusters group at the zombie walk too and yes for my Resident Evil cosplays Carlos is my signature one I still have to get to work on Raymond and Forest though I found for a decent price other items necessary for Raymond could also double the bulletproof vest for Forest's S.T.A.R.S. vest (could probably get a segment of material to screen print the S.T.A.R.S. lettering on to and add velcro backing and then a segment of velcro to put on the back of the vest itself to add and remove the S.T.A.R.S. lettering for when I switch between using the vest for Raymond or Forest may just use my Samurai Edge as that though because an airsoft MGL Grenade launcher isn't cheap costs more than my PSG1 I just got not too long ago for my U.B.C.S. sniper loadout (even though the player couldn't use it in the Outbreak games the PSG1 was also seen in cut scenes used by U.B.CS. Snipers) if you're still looking to cosplay Jessica, if you're able to make it to a con and I'm there can use my PSG1 as her Sniper rifle if you want I'd really like to get to see you at a con some time in the future if ever possible

I liked the Outbreak games, and you look great as David - it's a shame you don't see cosplayers portraying the characters more often. I really look forward to seeing your Raymond and Forest cosplays! Yes, I am still planning to cosplay Jessica in the uniform she wore during the Terragrigia Panic (I would love to borrow your PSG1, it would be perfect!). Perhaps I'll be able to attend Ohayocon next year, and if you go then we can arrange for a photo shoot as Jessica and Raymond.

Remembering back when you said this I know its been ages (time can certainly fly) if you're still up for going to Ohayocon pre reg is currently open til the end of December I'm planning on bringing all of my cosplays not quite sure what specifically I'll be bringing but I'll also be cycling Solid Snake (Zanzibar loadout) into the mix as well as making a few new and returning appearances depending on what I can fit into the mix

That's likely going to be my next con I've wanted to go to others aside from just it and or matsuricon in Columbus Ohio but haven't had the means to travel that far out lately, I still feel like I've took a low blow missing a chance to meet Vince Corazza at Katsucon 2015 (Carlos' RE3 voice actor) but oh well I'll wait for another chance I suppose >.< in the mean time been working on upgrading some of my props and weapons and costume items in case you didn't already see it on fb I also made a customization to my Samurai Edge with a mock suppressor as well as another modification to my RE3 Rifle took a while to upload everything because I just recovered from having to have my wisdom teeth removed but I should have everything up soon enough. Hope you've been doing well.

I'm actually going as Carlos to the Columbus Zombie Walk today I'll be there with some people from the Umbrella Ohio Fireteam and S.T.A.R.S. Columbus have you ever been to a zombie walk event before?

Often times these events are open to the public and any proceeds earned from it go towards charity organizations and fudning towards things of that nature the event itself was open to the public The columbus zombie walk is an outdoor event held at the Midwestern Haunter's convention they have others up in Cleveland and Cincinatti too but they're farther away from me than the Columbus one is
