No problem. I loved reading it, it was an explanation of Atheism that didn't try to send the message of "Fuck you" to other belief systems. I respect that greatly.

I'm glad you see it that way because that is definitely how I intended it. While I think that building an ethical system on an extremely tenuous epistemological/metaphysical foundation (like religion) is extremely unwise, I really tried to make it clear that not all religious people are in fact, unethical or bad people. Obviously, not all religious ideas are crap either. Overall, my problem with religion is that it does a poor job of teaching people how to think about things like ethics because it is predicated on concepts that exist throughly outside of the logical/rational process.

Again, not a problem. I agree whole heartedly, religion seems to almost always have had a problem involving ethics and how they should be taught. My main problem is honestly the leap of faith that they expect of their followers. In some cases I feel that it is just way too much to expect from people, especially those who don't know any better. As for the ethical construct, I think it should be based on human interaction and morals. Not theological standards. Thank you for posting that, it actually excited me to read. Im glad to see intelligence still exists. ^.^

I read your little debate with kageryu here [link] and I just wanted to say:
1) You made some really valid points;
2) Your grammar is impeccable; and
3) I noticed he - an assumption from the deviant's name - must have taken a shining to you, seeing as he picked up some of your vocabulary in his arguments (you know what they say: imitation is the sincerest form of flattery).
Anyway, your language skills and poetry are amazing. Consider yourself watched! : D
