But what if I am only a ghost? In the light I will be seen by not seen, and my existence will be confirmed, as non-existent. Minds will melt! I think it is safer for all if I am carried away by a moonlight shadow...unless I had some sort of parasol or something, then I could go out into the light ^.^

How would being in the dark be any different? You cannot see without light. You would only make a sound, if a ghost made any, in both a lit street of lanterns or the gloomy alleyways. But... if you're carried away, that'll be the last I'll ever see you. You'll pass on worry and warning. All that is left to do is sing a song of sorrow and grieving.
