Recuerdo bien ese día en que anunciaron la muerte de Freddie. Tenía 6 años, en ese entonces, pero ya había empezado a escuchar las primeras compilaciones conocidad de ellos, gracias a mi hermano.

Independiente del período "Libertino" que tuvo cuando fue más joven, siempre ha de impresionar la fuerza y el coraje para realizar shows, grabar su última obra con Queen ("Innuendo", 1991), y mantenerse en pié, aunque le costara. Por eso, los "Hombres-Leyenda" o las "Mujeres-Leyenda" dentro de la historia moderna jamás han de morir, porque fueron consecuentes con sus convinciones, y fue así hasta sus últimos días; Vivió la vida intensamente, como él lo deseaba.
