Oh, hello! Didn't recognize you with your new name, but now I know who you are. Eesh. A lot happened since 2003 - both in terms of my art and out of it - and it looks like the same goes for you. ^^

Oh the art posted was commissioned for me by AbsoluteDream. I haven't posted (or drawn) any art really these past years. Instead I took focus on writing, but as of late haven't had time to continue due to college and working 2 jobs.
How have things been the past 14 ish years?

Needless to say, a lot has happened - 14-ish years are quite a bit of time, with quite a few ups and downs, evolutions, revolutions, conversations, confrontations, interludes and examinations. I'm tempted to add on 'chaos, madness and flying weasels' in a fit of sudden nostalgia but.... yeah. XP
But yeah. Basically these days I still draw/write/attack the occasional instrument, although between various creative blocks, time-management with my job (some of the larger projects can absorb hours!) and the occasional bit of gaming, I do so less than I used to. My art style evolved to all frell, though.

I see that, you've really come a long way, especially on landscapes and such, it's amazing.
Yeah, same here, ups and downs, mistakes made, problems solved, a lot of what ifs, etc etc. Doing better now than I did all those years ago at least. You're actually one of the few I used to watch that is actually still active--seems everyone else poofed or just... stopped updating.

Yeah, not surprised - people migrated to other websites as dA went straight to hell over the years. @_@ I mean, I've migrated elsewhere too, but I keep a presence on dA because.. old habits die hard I guess.

Where else did you go? I left DA after the whole Jark thing, went to FA.... and I kinda regret it since FA has been going to pot, too. Especially after the whole site hack and people's account info being leaked, etc.

Tumblr, mostly, though I maintain a presence on Facebook and Twitter as well and am attempting to pull together a proper personal website. I have the skeleton for it built up, but having some layout difficulties and... yeah, life tends to get in the way of sorting these out.
I don't keep up with dArama so I honestly had no idea what "the Jark thing" was until just about now. But dA has been on a steady decline in terms of policies, it was never even remotely decent at dealing with art theft, and the staff appear to be a bunch of mindless jerks who would be first against the wall when the revolution comes. I do need to back up everything i have on this gallery (Even the old, cringeworthy pieces, gog knows I might remake those someday), but I've reached a point where i have so much stuff up here doing so manually would be an absolute pain.
And FA. Gog, do not even get me started on that wretched hive of scum and villainy. Most of the userbase and the fact that one of their staff members may be an actual honest-to-zark sex offender and that the rest of the staff may have been covering his ass kind of makes me deeply uncomfortable, so while I have established a gallery there... I haven't updated it in a dog's age and I doubt I'm going to. The problem is, of course, that there is a bit of a dearth of decent art sites at the moment to serve as an alternative for either. @_@

Yeah, my FA was onyl recently touched to up[load that commission so the artist could get more exposure and hopefully more people paying for art. I am super happy to finally have decent pieces of my characters, one that I've had longer than Quailyn, Akasha, was just shown as a sketch last night. A few changes need to be made, then slap on some color, and boom, done! And then finally after 15 years my character will have an actual picture!
Wasn't that new furry site supposed to be decent? What was it, Wyseal or something? OR InkBunny? I've used InkBunny before, it was really nice, but most artists I used to follow went to the other new one, and it seemed just barely anything different from FA back then when it just launched.
I'm on tumblr as well, but pretty much just a reblogger. ._.
And yeah, the policies are not so great. Mostly with harassment. When there is OBVIOUS harassment and you report it, DA just says the one being harassed has to report it, that any else reporting it basically doesn't count. It's stupid.

Weasyl, I think. I've heard of it and InkBunny but not looked closely enough into either of them as I don't generally draw anthro creatures all that much these days, barring the occasional Alectan... and last I remembered both had a massive anthro focus and very little else of note. So yeah, the search for decent /non-niche/ art sites continues.
I joined Tumblr for art blog reasons and... eventually spawned a secondary blog for reblog purposes... which became a lot more active than my art blog. Go figure. XD

I detest FNAF and anything remotely related to it. Horror is not my cup of tea, cheesy jump-scare horror involving atrociously designed animatronics incorporated into a game that is essentially the gaming equivalent of watching paint dry even less so.
