I notice you’re from Canada. I’ve always loved Toronto and hope to someday see Vancouver!
I've found that a lot of people here in the U.S. don't know much about their own country,
much less anyone else's.
I post prayer updates about different countries. Part of the reason is to raise awareness about what's going on in the rest of the world.
Recently I’ve started a personal initiative; if I notice someone on DA is from another country,
if I've done their country I let them know. It’s my way of letting them know that others are thinking about their home.

We are honestly trying to assemble the best and brightest in the Science Fiction Genre and so far I think we have. However, since we don't want to leave Fantasy images out entirely, we have created our sister group Fantasy CGI which just opened for entries today and is currently filled with (almost entirely) my own work.

I've been doing tons of quick sketches - just concept stuff. Later I'll pick a few that I really like and do a full job on them. I also got some inks and brushes. I'll try my hand at that for a while.

I'm in Psalms in the Bible. My Goal is still finishing the Bible and start on the Koran. Then maybe try to look for a Torah and a Talmud, and possibly a book of Mormon

That's some heavy reading. But I did the same thing. I wanted (still do) to understand religions and why they fight so much. I was also interested in a group called the Oikume that want to unite the best parts of all religions. The group is so secret you can't find them anywhere.

Sorry for leaving you hanging. I was trying to find the book that mentioned them. I think they're in a box somewhere. I moved last summer. But I wanted to ask if you've ever read anything by Joseph Campbell. He was an extraordinary scholar who specialized in comparative religion and mythology. I'd recommend his book "Occidental Mythology" where he traces back to the beginning of all Western religions. Here's a very brief video featuring Joseph Campbell. [link] Actually, it's so short as to be almost laughable. Campbell was fascinated by religion and mythology since he was a child. He makes things clearer.
