Welcome to the design-addicts group, your design work welcome, as with all groups it is essential that you read the rules and familarise yourself with the folders, we are very strict with submissions going into the right place, and even stricter with regard to quality. Commercial offerings will be allowed but only into the correct folder and only when limited in number. We must draw your attention to the fact that anime and cartoon style submissions are strongly discouraged as this group is concerned with non-juvenile forms of art. Despite all the rules - please do enjoy submitting.

Don't worry, I've put my latest design there for no result whatsoever. I don't think I need to submit anything at all where I know my stuff is not appreciated. Maybe when i post something "more designish".

I am sure I accepted one of your submissions in the past and why do you say your stuff is not appreciated? Have you tried?
The Design Addicts group is holding to the traditions of its previous founders that determined it would focus on grown-up design, non commercial in nature. As an ex-admin you should appreciate that focus on a particular genre and holding to it. That is what groups should do...
If you are commenting on the cartoon moratorium. The reason is the swamping of Deviantart by the genre. It is a tidal wave and lots of it is junk, in fact most. We do let good art of any style in as long as there is some design discernible in its making, the bestg of that style migth still be accepted. The current morass of Japanese-inspired cartoons can be found everywhere, all the time, this indicates how easily it can be created and how easily it can swamp a group by sheer number.
Feel free to submit and if you think your stuff would be out of place then I can only suggest you read the rules of all groups you want to join, old or new and in that case you won't be surprised if you are ever rejected and can avoid the embarrassment of joining the wrong group but don't take it personally.
I think the words Design and Addicts says it all and we'll stick to it.

You're right, I remember there were hundreds of posts pending all the time and too many of them were junk, not to mention the hell it was so many submissions to the wrong folders. I got tired of that, besides my life could not spare the time to do that anymore.
About my submission I was talking about, it didn't pay any visits or faves. That's what I meant, maybe because it's more art than design and this group appreciates more the design than the art. I like both worlds but I guess there's not many people like me who's focused on both (although I only post digital art stuff because that's what I like the most).

Ni olà ma , it's a mix of Chinese and Portuguese of hello/hi, ni hao ma + olà = ni olà ma so I appreciate u say it too.
So do u always have watched Stitch the Movie or Lilo & Stitch series if u, alredy know that Stitch cousin yellow part Chinese dragon looking alien experiment 221 nicknamed Sparky?
Over 7 months ago there was a Lilo & Stitch Chinese spin-off just came out on March 27th, 2017 as there is a new girl, a Chinese girl named Ai Ling(An Ling in Chinese) in China on tv and in 2017 in a Chinese calendar is the year of the rooster.
Ai Ling is in a place of Lilo only in a place of China instead of Hawaii, here is the picture of them img07.deviantart.net/e86d/i/20… isn't Sparky and that new little girl perfect and adorable?
If your interested in them the Chinese girl and you should somehow, alredy know that Chinese dragon-like experiment alien Sparky to draw them.
Could u draw them in a Chinese festival wearing these outfits, a Chinese gate called a Paifang in the background for them, drumming Ai is doing in that pretty China flag colored Chinese qipao outfit and Sparky wearing this cool outfit like a monkey king sort of having these antennaes on the cap and some Chinese warrior outfit matching for the Chinese festival it looks like to me, a stick and a lantern stick carrying with him as Ai carrying a drum celebrating in that street in China so here are they to copy their outfits and the background with the Paifang for the street Ai's Chinese outfits festival or Sparkys outfits can u do that, please?
When u finished the request for the Sparky & Ai fans/me so submit it in these special corresponding dates I'm picky with I want them to be in those days I'm available to plus favorite them is on the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 7th, 9th, 11th, 12th, 14th, 17th, 19th, 21st(that matches Sparky's 221 number), 22nd, 24th, 27th or 29th ur ready to submit them this year 2017 in these last 2 months of 2017 or this month of 2017 as it's special, please?
Also 7th, 17th and 27th dates matches 2017 too in a special way.

I can't afford working for free anymore. I've done a couple art gifts in the past but as cool as the project may sound, it's something that I really can't do anymore. I'm really sorry for this, but trully honored for the thought.

Ni olá ma, this is the reason it was cool en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chinese_… so this is how I mix them up.
