Thats Eli (mostly called E) my big hairy lurcher, who shares my love for wine,
he's steeling wine out of a big green tumbler ( large glass=less top ups required ;) (Wink) )

Hi, I've just been looking at your gallery - which is really class! From what you have said below it sounds like we have similar stories. I'm 41 and only started painting the animal portraits before Xmas. I don't have any formal training and am still finding my way a lot. Have you thought of open college of arts to expand your very obvious talent? I have just enrolled hoping to make this more than a hobbie.

I turned 41 in June, and it was more of a shocker than 40!!! I think it was because it made the 40-somethings rather official!! Whatever you decide to do, just don't stop painting - you are incredibly talented and I'm looking forward to your next works!

Haha - that's class. I feel like a proper artist now. You should really check out Jenny Saville though - her paintings are amazing; she's who inspired me, big time..
