Hi Sammy,
I just came across your page and I really like your drawings. Also this is my first time on DeviantArt so I don't know if I'm writing this message on the right place. Anyway, I was really sad when I came across your last post. I definitely understand how you feel and I used to (sometimes still do) feel the same way. I'd stare at my sketchbook for a long time before giving up and starting to do something else. I do not want to try convincing you to start sharing your art again if you do not feel like it; I personally do not like sharing my art and probably never will. But if it is what you like to do, please do not give up on drawing. It's fine if you think that you aren't as good as the artists you look up to, just keep doing what you like to do. If right now you do not feel like drawing, take a small break. Then start drawing what you are comfortable with (I noticed that you are really good at drawing horses!), and when you feel ready, try harder stuff. While you do all this, keep looking for things that inspire you to draw, and do not think about what does the opposite effect. Lastly, remember that you do not have to make art for others, but you have to make art for yourself.

My iris made  "A vain promise..."  of tender greens and violets in early June, yet is already 


just a memory, as the poem promised, faded and going grey. Thanks for the fave, I hope
the image will be a reminder of its beauty for a long while to come Sammy
