What could I change for the second one, that I did wrong in the first?

I just found it kinda strange that everything went so quickly, and the werewolf was cool with just changing Ryan and letting him leave without telling him any powers or side effects, or basically anything about his new body. Maybe you could reintroduce that character later and explain what happened in more detail? I just felt that everything was a little too good to be true.
