We have a new folder open - The Monthly Theme Folder https://thefavouriteshowcase.deviantart.com/gallery/29360832.
Prepare to have some fun, have your work featured and win a prize.
The October Theme is SWEETS & All Hallows' Eve, so works of any medium representing any kind of sweets or something related to the Halloween (the fun part, no gore or violence please) will be accepted.
There are only 24 spots available for each theme, so be quick but choose wisely, only the best 10 works will participate in a poll to win the prize.
Your piece can be old or new.
When all the 24 works are in, the folder will be closed and the poll announced.
Prizes: winner 200 points, 2nd place 100 points and 3rd place 50 points.

I'm so glad you have re-discovered art too! It really would be a shame to waste your talent. At one point im sure every artists feels like their work isn't good enough. The truth is it doesn't really matter, as long as you are challenging yourself and improving. Just keep working. Thank you for the compliments! I have just started to draw again so I've got some improving to do of my own. Yes! that is my son. Good eye. He is 3 now. Oh, and your english is just fine. Easily readable. Thank you for commenting.

your profile info is so touching, I can see the story of my life in there too, because after completing college I have no desire to create artworks (beside lazy, I don't think I have enough talent too), until I met with a friend (senior designer) that so artistic and imaginative. at that time, I realize that drawing always be my identity
OK, before I bored you, I just wanna say that your artworks is so beautiful and simply amazing. They are SO realistic and full of details
