 Yea, I understand it gets hard for inspiration. You just know there's so
many things to take and put together but that don't help too much. What I
do is I take things anything that will eventually be inspiring or just base off of whether its an object, a song, feeling, color, or just anything
that appears happening in life and I also use what's in my head too. You can give each adoptable different styles, body shapes,
and built if you want, I think that helps a lot. For a new species, it doesn't have to be completely a 100% original design, it can be an enough to have something new in place.
 You can add something that is not offered enough like what considers an underrated real animal species or you can use any creature you want really
and use objects, food, or anything I mention above to add. It don't have to be the thing literally, you can use it in a creative way to be a part of the species. You can find a signature
look for it too using something that stands out. 

 I tried my best to explain what will help. I was stuck at one point when I was younger, I think concept art will help to get an idea across and see what changes you have in mind afterwards/later. I feel like giving you some tips to you instead of leaving it to the dust. I hope you can get inspired again even with some of my tips.
