Hey I was looking around for Monster Hunter pictures and well, I came across a comment of yours saying that you make props from monster hunter. I was wondering if so, how much do you normally cost? And what about armor?

yeah, do you live in the US? if so, where?
Right now, I'm really cheap. I'm still trying to just get some variety out there, and build up a "portfolio", for the lack of a better word....not to mention get practice.
Honestly, shipping will be one of the more expensive things you pay for, considering mailing a box that is between 5' to 7' long is no small feat (*bud-um-ching*), assuming its not Dual Blades or SnS. First we talk about what you want, and then work out what I can actually do. Once we agree on something, I scout Home Depot and gather prices. I add up the prices of materials (which usually doesn't exceed 20-30 bucks), then add on only another 30-50 bucks for me actually making it. So between the Materials and shipping, you are actually paying mostly for the actual creation of it.
Materials usually include things like:
Paint
lots of wood
and other extra materials needed to add "effects" etc (like Gloss finish, lights, etc)
I would have you pay ahead of time for the materials alone, once I get the price for them, just because I literally have no extra spending money for projects like that. Then once its all done and ready, you pay for shipping and the actual service!
I take pictures during work in progress to keep you updated, to make sure you like what's happening, and make to make corrections need-be.
Let me know what you think!

I really dig the sword you did. How did you do the print out? I'm planning on making some armor and weapon and was hoping you could give me some tips

I traced the screenshot in Photoshop, then changed the size in inches (I know you can do that in photoshop, i don't know about other programs). then I turned the grid view on, and set it to be 1x1 in inches. Then I just cropped the picture into a bunch of small 8.5x11 images, saving each separately. Then, once thats all finished, I printed each one on their own pages.
Does that make sense?

No, unless you,re copying someones work, the finished work works very well, so the proportions, face design etc are good.
Some manga proΒ΄s have "bad" pencils, because they are thinking in the finished work, and donΒ΄t care too much about the pencils, so, is nothing that bad, keep on it

Just be sure to read my little descriptions of them, where i explain they aren't original drawings; just prettied up screenshots of some anime.
