Are you kidding? I grew up on TMNT, it's probably the dearest piece of media to me because I can relate to it so well. The entire basis of the comic's character development, on how family bonds help define you as you grow is something I haven't seen anyone else do as well as TMNT has done.

You watching the old show from the 80's or the 2003 one? The latter's a much more faithful adaptation of the comics.

Ah, actually I'm watching the '87 cartoon. I wanted something to watch to de-stress. Embarrassingly enough, I'm in the process of writing a fanfiction and everything for it.

Did you discover the comics or old cartoon first, or even the action figures? I know that a lot of children weren't aware of the comics, and were introduced by the cartoon.

Would you like to see me post some sketches of the characters if I do them? I need to post some older Powerpuff Girls work I did, anyway.

I was around 3 or 4 years old when I first got into TMNT, starting with both, the '87 cartoon and the action figures. It wasn't until much later that I found out about the comics (all three incarnations of it at that). I grew out of the old show and sorta embraced what the original concept represented. I'm one of the rare few that grew up with the old show but don't really enjoy it the same anymore.

I wouldn't mind seeing your sketches. I actually have a Powerpuff Girls piece I was working on like I promised you that I need to get back to finishing. ;D

You know, since we like some of the same shows, we should really do a collaborative piece sometime. You could do you linework, and I could color or something. I've always wanted to do something like that.
