Hrm. Lots of practice and studying other artists. I work wet on wet, light to dark usually. Understand light and form.

Thanks man. I definitely have been studying other artist. Light and form are my bad areas, I just never get light reflect for shading. Thanks for the tips though.

I will definitely have to pull out all the stops to compete with you. Gonna be a hard one for sure. I really am not a fan of the Darkness' design so this will be a definite challenge. Looking forward to battling you though.

Assume copics for me as I am still trying to get the hang of them and working on coloring.

Don't know much about Darkness. The comic book shop was out of Darkness trades. I'll think about it for another couple of days and start something.

P.S. Rhino uses coptics at Drink and Draw. I was looking at them the other day at Hobby Lobby. I may have to try them out sometime when I'm not facing a master. (Look at me...about having Dreno battle me in acrylics!)

You could totally nail copics. With how good you are at paints, it would be a breeze. I really like using them, just wish I was better at them.
