hay doggie i just realized that my favoret comic charater is a cyborg called Battle Angel Alita or gunnm in japan. the comics great but in 1993 an anima movie was made,and if u can find it im shure you'll love it! one part in mind alita is stoping a sword from cutting her inhalf and you can see the vents on her arms open up to let air in to feed the engins in her armes to create more strength.imdb it to see what she looks like.

Oh dude...I'm VERY familiar with Battle Angel Alita/Gunnm!!! Being the consummate fan of female cyborg characters, Alita/Gally is my FAVORITE comic character of ALL TIME and a HUGE influence on my artwork and my cyborg characters. And yes, I used to own the old Battle Angel Alita anime years ago on VHS...the tape was white! I do remember the scene where she stopped that dude's blade with the palm of her hand and the vents in her arms popped up! That was awesome!

Supposedly, James Cameron is supposed to be directing a live action Battle Angel Movie...well, Alita's supposed to be CGI but everything else is to be real. He's supposed to do that movie "The Last Avatar" first, then on to Alita. As for when, I don't know b/c they said that the Alita flick was to come out sometime this year, but I don't think that's the case.

Thanks for the heads up regardless...it's good to know that there are other folks that share the same love of cyborg chicks!
