We went out this afternoon to get shots of the forest fire near Boulder, we are going out again this evening for sunset, going to be an epic sunset

Yup it was used briefly as a background photo on the 10 pm news while one of the anchors was talking, don't remember what they were talking about though, since I was too focused on trying to remember who's photo it was until I noticed your name was in the corner XD

Wow that fire is insane, I've been watching the news on it all day! As well as watching the smoke cover the sky, amazing how its visible from Wyoming to the Springs. Can't wait to see what you guys captured

Nice, where did you guys go to shoot?

I went to the overlook on 36 going into Boulder last night and got a few shots before sunset, then went up to Flagstaff. Really wish my camera could take exposures longer than 60 seconds, but it was still just amazing to see the fire. And especially to get a sense of how close it really is to Boulder.

Ugh the count of destroyed homes just keeps going up.

I gon duned and deleted dem all. Long story, so pull up a couch with some comfy pillows.

Right now I am concentrating on Red Bubble and Flickr, places that actually will be able to give me some exposure with potential clients who likes my work ( now who would be interested in my work )

Besides I got tired of all the Anime and Cosplay and all that shit on this site. The only reason I am still on this site is to comment on the work and journals of the few people I want to continue following.

I is fine, I just got sick of some of the things going on that I deleted all but 4 of my photos, I will still comment on peoples journal entries and photo uploads, but I am kinda through uploading my photos here.

Most of my work will either be on Red Bubble or Flickr, or on various stock photo sites I belong to. I get FAR more exposure on those sites than I do here, including exposure to search engines and other external sources.

my diaburritores....errrrr diabetes is finally under control again, but dang my insulin is EXPENSIVE, sheesh, luckily a vial of it lasts me a few months, so I am good with that for a while

yippers, all is ok...well except for the fact that I had to put my cat to sleep and that was totally devastating for me, that was a little over a week ago, still very depressed over it.

Anyways, I am sick of DA that is why I deleted everything, I was going to delete my account, but I realized that there are at least a couple things worthwhile on here, like interacting with some people, but I decided to concentrate on other sites that actually give me some exposure (even though that is not much).

Red Bubble is awesome, there is NO drama there neither, and I get at least a little more interest in my work there too. Flickr is ok, I hate the fact that they limit how many uploads you can have, I also don't like the groups there though I submit to some (you know "upload 1, reward 7" or "upload 1, comment on 2,459 million", I try to avoid those groups though), but the exposure potential is quite high

*major s* I still feel Victor's presence in the house. I swear he's still here, I just can't see him cuz he's off in one of his famous hiding places sleeping somewhere. I catch glimpses of him here and there, I swear.

Having to go through that is the WORST heartbreak to be felt.

Sometimes as infuriated with dA and the kiddie drama BS that makes me want to I still do have way too much fun here, too many people I love seeing pop up in my message center each day.

I really, really need the time to concentrate more on Flickr and RedBubble. Photographers on Flickr have been super generous to me in giving me information I need for more photoshoots, and RedBubble has been fantastic thus far.

god now it's happening again. more crap, I don't know how much more I can deal with. Now my kitty is seriously sick, he can hardly even stand let alone walk, I have an appointment to take him into the vet tomorrow, but I can only afford the exam. I really have no means of giving him any treatment if he needs it.

god it's so lonely in my place now, no more kitty running around with a toy in his mouth going "Mwow Mwow Mwow", no more kitty coming up to me and sitting up against my lap, no more kitty coming up to me and laying down next to me whenever I lay down in the living room, no more kitty sticking his nose in my face while purring when I kneel down to get close to him, and no more silly noises whenever he got really happy or excited, and no more hom pouncing and throwing treats all over the floor whenever I give him a treat.... GOD I HATE THIS FUCKING WORLD.

I threw away his bed a few days ago, that was one of the hardest things I have ever done

Now I hear one of my friends dog is dying of cancer and he is going to have to put it to sleep soon too.

You need to find a way to get one. They fill so much in our lives, they can become quite literally like family, like my cat was. Nothing is better than watching a cat bounce around all over the place playing with a toy, and if you have one of those laser pointers or pens, cats go BONKERS over them, it is one of the funnest things to experience (funnest? is that even a word?). True they are like kids and take alot to take care of and they DO make a mess, but the fun and great things you get out of them far outweigh those couple minor negative things

I just bought a new DSLR a few days ago, it's not much, it is an older one and was used, but it was at a price you could not pass up and I know I can't afford a higher end DSLR in my current financial situation. I went Downtown the last couple of days and got some shots with it, it seems to produce some really nice images

My parents would kick me out if I even tried asking for one...once I brought home a kitten someone had just left, and it was theee most adorable thing (here's a picture [link] )...let's just say the neighbors came out by the end I always wanted a kitten or bunny, it would still be a dream come true for me...I guess that's not happening though >.>
