There's a"kinda-sorta" answer for that question actually. I dabbled in RP from middle school to recent years. Roleplaying my OC's together with another friend of mine OC's. However, I haven't really Rped with my friend in a while. I still have stories concerning the OCs rattling around in my head for her and me to do - but I think RPing has ran it's course. lol So I usually end up writing what would have been RPed as short stories instead. Which also helps to pass the time.
Currently, I'm playing on FF 14 with a few friends. They RP a lot. Even call the server we're on an RP server. I don't RP with them - mostly because I'm new to the idea of RPing with people other than my friend Plus, idk how to explain it, I've never found it easy to try and make new RP characters. They all end up with the same personality - mine.Β Β

I don't think its ran its course. Its just my creative juices wont flow enough for meΒ to work on current OC's. Plus when we see each other were so busy trying to catch up we don't think about it, I have more time now working only one job but that Artblock is till there. Like I don't even remember what half my Oc's or yours even look like. but it is good to RP with other people.Like 10 years ago hell even 5 years ago I could come up with Rp stuff left and right but I think my addiction to youtube and social media is a problem as well. We started RP because it gave us something to do but now were adults who work and were both in relationships and we got bills and stuff to pay. I don't think about Rp that much anymore. Now its "omg I hope I have enough money to pay this car note this month" or "hey what's going on youtube,twiitter,facebook etc" and when I have off days from work all I wanna do is sleep or literally do nothing. If the freaking cold front ever comes in ill be more active cause the texas heat and dealing with humans all day everyday is just exhausting. but I finished the sskin tone chart. I just forgot to bring my sketchbook. But don't be afraid to RP with other people. you may like it.
