No worries, Dear. I've not been on DA much recently. I am in the home stretch of completely the rough draft of my first novel and have been putting all my energies there. Haven't been doing any portrait work.
The artwork for the book is being handled by :iconsurhuinel:
I am only providing some conceptual sketches - she's bringing all the imagery to life.
In the meanwhile Iwill have my ever watchful eye on you!

I like hearing these details of your world and your art and writing. I would like to here more about this. It is a goal of mine one day. No matter I have an English degree and some law school, I can't seem to confine my thoughts well enough to begin this type of writing.

Awesome - very glad to know your block wasn't very serious.

I'm actually from New Jersey, but I work for a medical company that has a very big presence in the "Triangle" where you are from and our world headquarters is just outside of South Bend so I see alot of that part of the country.

Hope your job search continues to go well ... oh - how I wish I could quit my job and just do this full time(I write as well and am trying like hell to finish off my first novel!)

It pays the bills though - necessary evil, I guess! Better a frustrated artist than a broke one!

I'm traveling on business to Chicago until Friday. They won't let me load Skype on my business laptop which really sucks. I will be back Friday and could defintely talk at 21:00 your time. Otherwise I would make myself available during the weekend. This next weekend I could be available Saturday anytime after 14:00 your time - same for Sunday - just give me a day or 2 so I can plan my schedule but I can definitely be flexible for you!

OK Friday it is - if you can do 9 pm your time that works for me. If something comes up between now and then let me know and we can reschedule for Saturday or Sunday. Like I said I'm willing to work around your schedule if I can plan it 1-2 days in advance.
Awesome! Looking forward to it(I've been looking forward to it for almost a year now, actually!)
It should be alot of fun - I think once we get started things will start to snowball and it will be great. I think just getting started is the hard part.
Think of yourself more in terms as a collaborator or an art director on this project - I think your visions are fantastic. Once we see something really coming together like it almost did last summer I think that aspect of it will really take off!
