I guess on both bc I'm not sure how to put it. But maybe, if you really really want to add something purple on the cover, make it look really really subtle. More of like a hue/tint than gradient.

Agh.  Sorry for the massive slew of comments.  But I found out how to make it private on photobucket, so I have the album its in set to private, and I can give you the guest password.  I do ask that you don't pay attention to the back cover at all.  Just the front and the spine.  The back I didn't pay much attention to, I just threw it together for the idea of what it'll look like.  It's nowhere near complete or looking good xD

Hmm... I like it. But I don't know. I just am not a fan of those glow effects. Simplicity tends to magnet your work near cleanliness and professionality. If you want, you can send me the stock pictures and I can make a cover out of it. You know, like a blueprint or guide. Then, if you like my design or not, you can just like hmm.. do a similar thing. And the only thing I ask for is credit

I might ask you to do that.  It's actually not stock photography, but pictures that my friend took herself.  I'm very impartial to the purple colors on the cover, and making it look dark.  Because it's a very dark romance that deals with a lot of dark topics.

Sorry that there's an a-hole on there harrassing you.  It seriously is probably because you're really great at making covers.  Bullies work in weird ways.  Sometimes you just gotta try to let it roll off your back, because ML is full of 12-year-old girls who don't know better ways to deal with their anger, jealousy, etc.

Also, I changed the font and got rid of the harsh gradient and dark color, because I agreed completely that those colors were a huge problem.  On the new one I have, the font is a little blockier, but it's not as entirely simple, and it's also white with a subtle purple gradient over it.  And it's moved to the bottom.  I read what you said about the author name on it, and I'm not sure if I can move it on this version without it looking cluttered.  

And... even though I'm sure you would keep it a secret, please don't tell anyone about it.  I'm trying to keep this under wraps until I actually officially announce it on October 19.

Well... I'm really careful about who I add on facebook and such, too.  So I'm trying to think of a way to send it to you without people seeing it.  (The group is secret, so I'd have to add you to it in order for you to see it, which would require you to give me your facebook, and I mean, I think we're both protective about our information.)

Any ideas on how I can send it to you?

And I saw your critique  Thanks so much.  I'd taken some of what you'd said on my portfolio into consideration when redesigning... but the biggest thing I thought was that the text had to go.

For tshirt designing siya actually. Inaantay ko pa nga yung theme para mapagpraktisan ko na sa bahay. Kabado to. Baka pinakapanget yung gawa ko dun eh. Sensya naman, lahat lang daw kasi ng Accountancy stud ang sasali tapos inassign sa freshy yung photomanipulation. Eh nagkataong ako lang yung marunong sa mga ganung program :3 sana allowed gumamit ng multiple prog para mapagsama ko yung gimp at ps :3
