# About me

I'm a massage therapist who's been getting more seriously into art the last few years, after discovering Wacom tablets and digital art. Hoping to do something professionally some day. I'm a Halloween junkie, so I'll be posting plenty of Halloween and horror-related projects later in the year. I'm also trying to get my own comic book going, but it's really hard work! So much to learn.

thanks a lot for your comment. i´m also searching for a way to draw foliage/trees. maybe you to take a look at the paintings if ivan shishkin, he really knew how to paint landscapes.

haha I think you've figured it out. Your trees look amazing! I think close-up trees are the hardest to paint. Trying to figure out if I should paint the leaves individually or try and use custom brushes with different scattering options.

Really love how you're not afraid of intense blacks and silhouettes. Very cool =) (Smile) I've never liked screen tones, I prefer solid black and hatched blacks.

It's something I've been trying lately, it can be pretty hit or miss. Done well though, and it can add a lot of drama and depth to a scene.
