You're welcome! As Delvida said "Surreal" as a black and white image it is striking. Have you given some thought to coloring it?
Great image!

If I remember correctly, you're a music teacher (an admirable profession-teaching).
Why not costume design? or costume mistress (?)for a theater company or studio?
(Please don't mind me saying it like you could sign right up but then Edith Head (multiple Oscar winner for costuming started somewhere!)
Keep up the good work and good luck.
Sincerely, Mark

I actually began my college career as a musical theatre major, but this was years before I ever took an interest in sewing or costuming. The theatrical profession just didn't match my personality well [I'm very shy and conservative, and theatre types are quite the opposite], and I was worried about having a dependable career. After a semester I switched to music education. I think I'd like to keep costuming as a hobby. ^__^ In my experience as a musician, some things become less fun when they are regarded in a more serious light - I lost a lot of my love for piano and singing over the years I spent in college. I simply don't want that to happen to my costuming.

Mmmm I see,and I understand. Somethings when they become a job can lose they're shine. And I can see your point about the costuming. You do them so well.
You mention a shyness? How do you/did you overcome that to teach? Because I find when I teach or give a presentation it's sort of like a show, you're the star, you do the dance to the best of your ability and you get done...(Iknow I'm horrible, and can tellyou where all the mistakes are, but I've been told I do a great job.)
Sorry to hear the Piano has become a victim of the music ed.
What is your fovorite piano piece to play for fun,for the shear joy of being able to?
Thanks for the response.
Sincerely, Mark

As long as life remains scripted, you'd never think of me as shy, but I'm a bit of a social nitwit when it comes to making conversation. Teaching and performing are very similar, as you mentioned, so they don't bother me so much. ^__^
Sadly, I haven't played piano in a long while. A lot of this is due to losing interest in it through college, and now I live in an apartment and it would be impossible to play or sing without disturbing someone. I mostly enjoyed playing music from the romantic period; Rachmaninoff, Rimsky-Korsakov, and Schubert are some of my favourite composers.

It's funny in a way,I say it's easy to talk in front of groups.ie present or teach (I know it isn't), but when things are good, there is nothing better and time flys, but when you're bombing or stuck time will just not move..
I tend to like Beethoven "fur elise" and his Symphonies 3,6,7 & 9. (Symp9 I find very moving). We listened (or rather my parents played) alot of classical when we were youngsters, so I've heard a lot of it but I'd be hard pressed to tell you the composer. Mozart, for "eine kliene nacht musik" and alot of other things I can't remember the names to.
Well I hope one day, the piano gets your attention again because I'd guess it would be as much fun to hear as to see your cosplay pictures. You could cosplay Beethoven's love or Mozarts' sister while playing(I know it's a stretch, just teasing btw.)
Hope all is well in MD, Rainy, grey and cold here in CT. Fall is definetely here and looking for winter.
Take care,Mark
