Maya and Zbrush?   Neither are particularly suited to intense 3D work,  though Zbrush runs very smooth on either machine.   Maya may run a tad smoother on the X230t with the smaller resolution and slightly better thermals.  But I wouldn't buy a tabletPC for primary use of Maya,  being able to draw on the screen comes at a cost of power sadly.  T902 and X230t certainly are some of the most powerful currently (even though they are older)  but there are a few newer ones emerging with dedicated GPU's if you don't mind Ntrig over Wacom.   Start a thread over at tabletPCreview under the "what tabletPC should I buy?"  and we can give you more thorough advice!

mostly photoshop cs6,  with Jama J brushes  (he is also on DA)  and a Wacom penabled T902 convertible tabletPC.

sure.  Which painting in particular?  Also, go check out ctrlpaint dot com for tons of free and very awesome tutorials for basic digital painting.   I like to use textured brushes and textures on overlay for added interest.  I work mostly in photoshop.  Thanks for the watch!

nice! Sadly, I don't really have a lot of my digital art up here yet. Mostly cause I'm too lazy. Most of my work that I've made in the last 6 months on the T902 I can't even upload because it is for my work and I sign non-disclosure agreements with most clients... Can't really show work that hasn't aired yet! I come from a traditional painting background, but I've come to prefer the digital medium thanks to Wacom tabs and now my tabletPC. Let me know when you get the T902, I wanna see what your talent will do with that thing!
