I've been good! Things got a bit weird, my cat had to have her eye taken out, it was found to be cancerous, but the vet doesn't think it's spread so that's a relief. She's doing great now ^^ I've just been doodling stuff and looking into studying to become a proofreader c: Yourself? Love the icon, btw :3

It's somebody who checks a written work (say an essay, or a book) for typos, grammar errors, punctuation problems, etc, before it's sent to print :3 I figured I'm always correcting other people's spelling so I may as well do it as a job XD *shot*

It has been a long time! It's been a bit up and down, really, lots of things happening! As far as good things, I've actually figured out what I want to do with my life (Proofreading! WHOO!), as for bad things, my cat unfortunately had to have her eye taken out because it was cancerous, but the vet didn't think it's spread and she's bounding about like she didn't have major surgery XD

Oh no that's fine! I went to uni but dropped out because I didn't enjoy it so I'm doing an apprenticeship now, so I'm studying one day a week and working 4 days a week, I'm doing social and digital media but I'm going to be switching to graphic design next month which should be better for me I think

D: At least you managed to find something that suits you more ^^ Digital media's still a pretty useful subject so it won't hurt to have the knowledge for it. :3 Funnily enough, when I was in college for the second year, I was SUPPOSED to be doing digital media but they put me in the graphic design class by mistake >.> Going into an HND for a class you know almost nothing about, with no more than vague advice and counter-intuitive computers (I don't care how top of the line those macs were, if I can't figure out how to launch Photoshop we have a problem!) is less than fun.

I found it too difficult, but I think it was because I didn't really have the basics. I would've probably enjoyed it more if I'd known more ^^' I absolutely adored the animation part of it though!
Heh, I remember a friend managing to put a Mac into a massive, two hour lag when he was using the smudge tool in Photoshop XD He was sitting there bored for that time, poor soul.

Ah I can understand that, it must have been! I did it in school so I was pretty used to it when it came to doing it for work! Animation sounds like a load of fun though, I haven't done any animation in ages!

Animation is ridiculously fun and satisfying but also exhausting XD I just don't have the energy for it these days! XD
The hilarious thing is, I had an old art program called Pixia that was pretty much just fancy, glitchy MS Paint and it could do a smudge beautifully with no lag whatsoever. XD

Oh I know how you feel, I did a few animations back in school for media, and they were soooo time consuming! xD But very accomplishing, if I had more time I'd love to animate again!

Pixia's not supported in English any more, which is why I switched over to using Photoshop alone. (Plus transferring files between the programs was annoying XD) But I did like the colouring style you got with Pixia. It did have some interesting features I've not seen in other programs, so :3
