second one is detailed coloring. is that everyone doing like that. ( i mean with 2 part)???

Yeah if the whole lineart+coloring takes too long then you can cut into good - just like you did.

Usually it's Photoshop cs4 but now I've started to use Paint Tool SAI ( I used that for my last couple deviations). And I've dabbled in Painter 12. 12 has some really awesome features to it. Thanks for the watch!

oh correction, I am using cs4 not cs5 lol so im not sure. I usually do lineart so I don't really find painter 12 that useful( plus its hard to use but it has so much potential)

Yeah for library I think SAI is the obvious tool here - or even Photoshop though I've never tried it there. The nice part about all three programs is that they can all save and open psd files so I can switch to painter or Photoshop in order to utilize the larger variety of brushes (SAI doesn't really give variety)

oh , I use cs5, Sai I can't use because of my mac. and true, painter 12 is really amazing, lots of interesting features and tools on it

I've been a bit reluctant to go over to the newer versions of PS. Would you say that there's a big difference? I've heard that they really changed up the brushes or something.
Painter 12 is very amazing but at times it's a bit too much so I've gone back to SAI for the moment o3o
