C - Conning a Con ManThe streets of Capital City were flooded with people. Vendors gave out free snacks to children or hosted games, young orphans milled about often with a look of wonder on their dirty little faces, guards patrolled around to make sure that all the events were going smoothly. There were so many interesting booths to see, new enticing smells to follow and find the source of only to devour it within moments. So many happy faces milling about, each one a potential target for Lucana's next con. Yet she was unable to take part in any of it.
For the last three days and as well for the remainder of the week, Lucana was stuck by her father's side giving greetings in the center of the city. She supposed it could be worse; she could be with her mother and elder siblings who were working some boring table somewhere else within the city.
