Hey! Thanks for the comments. It's been a long time since I've posted stuff and really wanted to be a step ahead of where I was with color. Still have a long way to go. You've really improved! Keep at it man, you're only getting better.

Im in the same boat, it's been a while since I posted anything new or really been on D.A in general so I wanted to go through my watches and check up non everyone! Your color is so much better but then again it's always been good to me! What kind of things have you been doing to help get your color to the next level?

I sent an artist I admire an email asking him how he chose his colors so well. He actually took the time to go over some of my stuff on livestream and critique some things. I think getting critique is really important. One thing he told me is that if you lay off color picking (alt) from what you've already got on the canvas and instead choose a color off the ctrl+alt+shift+right click (photoshop) color wheel every time you need a new color, your colors won't get muddied up and it makes you think more about what color you're actually after. He said I had a lot of one or two color color-schemes and that it's important to put a little tertiary color in there and play around with it more. It's rough at first but after a couple weeks it starts to feel a lot better. You get more confident with it if you don't worry too much and just put it down to see what it looks like. Glad to see you back!
