those classes really sound interesting especially abnormal psychology (or at least the title sounds fascinating, what is it about?) and american sign language. i'll be studying as an optional if i want the psychology of religion next year. i also like how you have various subjects.

this last semester i had: the psychology of personality, group dynamics, psychology of growth/human development, psychological testing, methodology and psychology of learning... lots of informations...

in abnormal psych we mostly talk about clinical psychology - different disorders, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment etc.

those all sound like interesting classes! the psych of personality sounds pretty cool.

oh in this situation, we had an abnormal psych class and i think we'll have another one this semester or next year... and we have to go to hospitals to actually see the disorders... do you have practice classes involving going somewhere to see the practical part of what you study?

yes, it is interesting, besides the known theories of personality we study genetics and epigenetics and predicting behaviours etc...

ah, that'd be cool to actually see the disorders. the prof usually just shows a video of someone with the disorder or have guest speakers who give detailed descriptions of various cases they've had.

it'd be a good class for a writer to take, I think.

films are also good to explore the diseases, but it's more ahem... real when you actually see them...

writers should know about everything, maybe you can read something about the subject

don't lose faith in yourself, you don't have to do everything at once. one's evolution comes in time. just do what interests you and stuff like this... read what you find pleasure in reading and discover more with each row read. blahblah i know you already know all this )

yes, you can learn a lot from books, but a large amount of what you read gets lots somewhere in our brains, waiting to be revealed by experience... i guess it's about reading and actually doing something... kinda afraid of that moment when i have to apply what i have been studying...
