omg omg I would love to make a pony! OwO Rainbow Dash is my fave but I know she would be so hard cause of all her colors. I love Princess Luna too.

I want to try to do/make one myself, but since this will be the first time I ever try something like this I'm not sure how to go about it and I would like to have a "back up" plan for this cosplay in case I suck at making masks XD

I'm actually on Episode 10 of Samurai 7!! His costume is the most interesting!

To me his mask looks like an welder's mask, at least the base would be. From there he has a different look which I would personally use foam craft for. :D (Big Grin)

So craft foam? Do you think I can spray paint that (to make it look beat up) without it falling apart? I've never used that before.

Yup :D (Big Grin) you can make anything out of craft foam. I didn't make this but as an example [link]

Get the thickest one you can find which I believe is 4mm. You can glue or even sew that. If you want to paint it I would start off with white.
