Oh no, it's okay and yeah I do, I dont know why, it ends up too big or too small and it messes up the whole face sometimes, I think My Emilie Autumn drawing is the best one where I got it very close to how it should be, lol I just have to practice I suppose I need to practice observational drawing for college anyway

yeah i know exactly how you feel, wish it was easy to just learn it like you learn maths or something, i really love drawing, i should do it more often and post some, i realise i havent posted any/or many. and practise makes perfec

You're welcome!
Yeah there's some great cheap books and online tutorials.
my first stop-motion animation I did with mostly duct tape and a webcam.
you can check it out here if you want:[link]
It's not exactly wallace and gromet, but it's still a good example of making inanimate things move around on the big screen so to speak.

Oh wow, now you're uploading sets and earrings and things! Have you considered selling some of them? I think if you put them on eBay or something similar you could make a fair bit of money from your talent

You're so young! How long have you been doing the sculpting for? How did you start doing it? I hope sculpting is the right word :S

FimoFemale In reply to LeonaCarolina [2009-09-08 13:15:54 +0000 UTC]
it is indeed the right word, i started about 2 years ago, and well i used to make food for my barbies out of modeling clay, the really soft stuff, but it would always get destroyed or dusty, then my sister actually found out about fimo and i fell in love and i have being making little fimo things since then, i find looking at other peoples sculpts and asking questions really helps. are you looking at getting into doing it?

LeonaCarolina In reply to FimoFemale [2009-09-08 13:18:33 +0000 UTC]
I was tempted to give it a try after looking at your work. I make my own jewelery (but it's pretty basic stuff, nothing like little cakes and waffles and dinners!) so I do have Fimo on hand. I doubt I'll be any good at it, but I do like to try new things! It looks like so much hard work, and it's all so small. You honestly have an amazing ability. I'm jealous!

well thankyou, i suggest that you get some modeling clay like plasticine and work with that, just like, basic colours and mixing and jusrt maiking basic shapes justto get a feel for it, then move to fimo, its expensive to stuff up fimo, alot of times, i will definitely see if i can make a tutorial.
